Ubisoft has released a 2 part video series exploring the lowlands, midlands, and Himalayas of Kyrat, the country in which Far Cry 4 takes place. In each video, you’ll learn who controls each region under Pagan Min, the self proclaimed King of Kyrat.
Part 1 explores the lowlands, where you meet Paul Depleur, leader of Pagan Min’s Royal Army and controls the lowlands, where Pagan Min’s money is made. You also learn of the various means of travel, be it land, air, or sea.
Part 2 takes you to the midlands and Himalayas, where you meet Dr Noore Najjar, Vice Lord of Kyrat, and Yuma, Commander of the Elite Royal Guard. Dr. Noore Najjar operates the drug trade and Shanath Arena, where you’ll fight deadly animals and gladiators in a fight to the death. Yuma on the other hand runs Pagan Min’s prison built into the Himalayas, where escaping means jumping to your death, not unlike the sky cells in the Eyrie from Game of Thrones.
I’ve enjoyed the Far Cry series ever since Ubisoft took control of the franchise from Crytek, and this one looks to be the best one yet. Far Cry 4 comes out next month on November 18th on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.
I want to watch them but then I dont, that way I can keep it all a surprise haha.
It’s not that much as a spoiler, but if you want a real surprise in the entire game, then not watching would be beneficial.
