Rumor has it that SquareEnix will be announcing a Kingdom Hearts HD Collection at E3 2012. The collection will most likely include all major releases of the series. The collection is speculated to be coming to PS3, Wii U, and PS VITA. People are saying that this might be a big ramp up to a huge announcement of KH3 but I think its still just more hype for the ever more retardedly named Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (video for 3D)
Now we all know how I feel about the KH series. I still just don’t understand why they keep spitting out these smaller titles on all the handhelds. I mean I love KH, the story is awesome and the game play is even better, however I have no desire to buy a 3DS just to play another offshoot of this game. SquareEnix is so good at releasing big title games over and over again (regardless if people like them) why cant they just give us KH3? At this rate by the time they finally do release KH3 nobody will care and people who have only played KH1 and 2 will probably be lost and unwilling to go back to handhelds to find out what is going on. Way to isolate your fan base SquareEnix, way to go. “Oh but Jason They are Busy making FF Versus.” Yeah and that’s coming out real soon too right? NOPE!

Anyway If you have not played the KH series do yourself a favor and pick this one up(if it exists) and find out what all the kids are talking about. Of course I post more news as E3 quickly approaches.
Agreed, I really wish that my PS3 still could play these games so that I wouldn’t have to shell out the money for them all over again. Same thing with the FF10 HD remake too.
That’s why I hunted down a PS3 with backwards compatability. 🙂
