That’s right folks, what was reported by Kotaku weeks ago has finally been given the Official Micros Stamp, your XBOX One will need to connect to the Live Cloud once every 24 hours in order to continue to play games on the console. As stated in an official release:
With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies.
And, to add insult to injury:
While a persistent connection is not required, Xbox One is designed to verify if system, application or game updates are needed and to see if you have acquired new games, or resold, traded in, or given your game to a friend. Games that are designed to take advantage of the cloud may require a connection.

Maybe they are pulling a coca-cola, remember when they made New Coke and everyone hated it and then they came out with “Coke Classic” and make a killing? Maybe thats what they are doing with the xbox one. I mean they are already paying royalties to Sony for the bluray player so why not make it a bomb, then next gen, when everything is all digital anyway, they come back with “Xbox Revolution” and be back with all gaming.
Or they could just be like “fuck this gaming thing” who knows lol
I wonder if Nintendo still has “revolution” locked down for a console…
And, I’m pretty sure they are just saying fuck you to everyone.
The issue with that though is with Coke they can just quickly bring back the old ahit and everyone would be happy. I am pretty sure if Microsoft put this out, made everyone hate it and then be like okay, here is the xbox 360 back people would not respond very well haha
Not saying they would bring back the 360 but that they would just bring back a gaming console minus all the bullshit they are spewing right now.
