Project Octopath Traveler Makes Changes Based on Feedback

Square Enix’s Switch exclusive JRPG coming out sometime this year released a demo last September. We’ve about the both on the site and on the podcast, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The art style was especially pleasing. It wasn’t without it’s faults however. That was precisely the point of the demo though, to get it out in players hands and see what did and didn’t work. That’s why they sent out a survey to be filled out, which 45,500 people did. They listened to that feedback too, and just released a video detailing the changes made. These changes include adding fast travel and increasing run speed to make it easier to get around. They also made it so you can skip or rewatch cutscenes. I won’t spoil the rest of the juicy details for you, and instead embedded the video below for you.
