The first official details about Bungie’s next game, called Destiny have been released. What do we know? Well it sounds like they are doing something interesting with multiplayer, and integrating it into the single player story experience. Details are pretty scarce on how they are doing multiplayer at this point, however the story is a bit more clear. The Earth got attacked, and we got our asses kicked. Luckily, this giant floating ball called “The Traveler” saved some of us, and we built a city underneath it. This magic ball gave you powers, and it is your job to defend the city from lies beyond the city’s walls. Watch the video above and hit read moar to get Adam Sessler’s opinion from the launch event.

No, it’s been said it’ll be on 360 and PS3, with hints that it might also end up on PC. This is Activision’s influence at work, and per Adam Sessler’s words, this is a very expensive game to make, so they have to make back their money.
