Gearbox had previously announced that players of Borderlands 1 would receive special bonuses / skins for their Borderlands 2 playthrough. Today they have finally shared what the actual skins/bonuses are…
…and they are kinda ugly.
The skins will be unlocked automatically if Borderlands 2 detects Borderlands 1 saves data. According to the press release it just monitors save data, not save progression so if you really want the extra skins borrow the game from a friend or go pick up BL1 on the cheap. Shit just play the damn game as it is amazing. Anyway there you go.
