You would think that I’d start getting dizzy by now, since I climb up on top of this thing so often, but gosh darn it I must be used to the altitude. Kotaku posted an article earlier today and I thought that I would give my 2 cents on this whole “problem” on here, as opposed to FB or their comments section. The short and thick of the article pertains to people being “misled” by Microsoft because the multi-player portion of Minecraft 360 only works if the game is played in HD. Some people are mad because Microsoft won’t refund all of their money due to this “unadvertised flaw”. I’m here to tell you that everyone complaining about this is a fucking idiot. To put it simply the 360, much like the ps3, is a gaming system that is designed to be used on an HDTV. Sure they both have the ability to use a composite or S-Video connection but when the games are rendered at a minimum of 600 lines of resolution (normally 720 or 1080) that should clearly signify that the console should be used in HD all of the time and NEVER at only 480 or fewer lines of resolution (FUCK YOU NINTENDO). The same people that are complaining about this are the same idiots that can’t figure out this VERY simple fact. Before people start harping in about how they can’t fit a 50 inch tv in their room, shut up because HD can be found in much smaller TV’s (ie. THIS). For all you idiots that say you can’t afford one I point you to the same exact link (just sort it by price). Just because you want to play a game in HD doesn’t mean that it HAS to be on a super expensive top of the line TV. Get something that is in your size and price constraints and live in the now. Shit, even the cheapest man on the planet has an HDTV.
If you can afford an xbox, you can afford an hdtv.
