I have ignored this game thinking it was common sense to skip it, as it is crap, but I was recently informed that there are people out there who are still getting pulled in by hype/ advertisements to buy this game, so I Figured I would do my due diligence to let everyone know.
The second Winner of the IBeatItFirst.com Wait For The Bargain Bin Award goes to:
Call Of Juarez: The Cartel for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Seriously, is there anything about this game that sounds good?
Now Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (the previous game), Wasn’t a horrible game as it was the best go to western game at the time, that is until Red Dead Redemption blowed it out of the water. However COJ:The Cartel has probably got to be the worst idea/implementation I have seen since Bubsy 3D (Google it). They took a pretty good idea and just shat all over it trying to make it “new”. Its almost as if they gave up because they knew they could never beat Red Dead. Either way the game is abysmal and not worth anyone’s time. If you have to have another “western” (and I use that word lightly) wait until this game hits bargain basement prices (shouldn’t take too long). Otherwise do yourself a favor and play anything else.
Congratulations Call of Juarez: The Cartel on your first (and probably only) award, Try again next time.
