Starship Corporation Launches May 3rd

Iceberg Interactive and Coronado Games decided to celebrate my 30th birthday on May 3rd by having the spaceship building sim Starship Corporation leave Steam’s Early Access. Starship Corporation has spent the past 2 years in Early Access, so a lot has changed in that time thanks to player feedback. Cybernetic organisms were added in addition to mining and military features during that time.

The game’s launch will add a campaign mode with 99 different business contracts and 2 possible endings. 2 new rooms and a ship database will also be added with the release, as well as Russian language support. Improved loading/save times, bug and performance fixes, and of course, Steam achievements will be added. In Starship Corporation you design and build starships for the galaxy, invest in technologies and open shipyards across the galaxy to better serve your customers.

Key Features:

  • Campaign mode with 99 different contracts and two different endings, based on your business dealings.
  • Sandbox Mode with access to all known human settlements in the galaxy, business opportunities for your ships in areas like transport, mining, route-maintenance, security, military and research and racing.
  • 177 unlockable rooms and facilities for ship design
  • 22 unlockable fuselages
  • 24 Missions for standard operation, emergencies and hostile encounters to test your ship in Crew Management

I don’t know about you, but I sure am excited for this game to finally launch. We’ll be posting a full review of the game when we’re able to, so be on the lookout for that!
