That’s right folks your first Dragon Quest game on North American consoles since Dragon Quest 8 will be a Warriors game, and I’m ok with that. Pulling from many generations of Dragon Quest games, Dragon Quest Heroes will feature an all new story and lots of Dragonball inspired characters. Given how well the Warriors style has integrated in to other franchises (see Gundam, Zelda, One Piece, Bleach, etc.), it’s safe to assume that this won’t be the last time you see one. No American trailer has been released yet, but you can watch the Japanese trailer below. Look for Dragon Quest Heroes end of 2015.
PS. If you’re wondering why a Warriors game is named Heroes, go ahead and google the history of Dragon Quest/Warrior. The name history is a little convoluted.
