Far Cry 5 is to be set in the United States of America, in the state of Montana in fact. The full reveal comes Friday, but it looks like you will be taking on a religious cult in the fictional Hope County, Montana. The cover image released shows what we assume to be your foe in the new game, a suave cult leader and his band of other Montanans with way too well kept hair. Seriously, look at them, they look like what you would find at a trendy bar or nightclub in LA, not the back woods of Montana.
The Far Cry games are usually a good fun time, and I don’t doubt this latest entry will be any different. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what they do to make the 5th entry stand out on Friday, and hopefully again at E3 in a couple weeks. What do you think? Is it too controversial for you?
